Pumpkin carving is a fun part of many Halloween traditions. This year, to add a little fun to our Halloween activities, we are hosting a FarmVille Pumpkin Carving Competition! That’s right, carve a real pumpkin in the FarmVille theme and you could win a prize!

CONTEST RULES:

• The pumpkins need to be FarmVille themed. Be creative!
• The FarmVille team will be selecting our top 10 favorite pumpkins on the 1st of November.
• No Photoshopped (or edited) images are allowed. And yes, we can tell!
• No flaming or insulting pictures that other players have posted.
• Posting will end at 3:00 pm PDT on November 1st.
• We will announce the top 10 winners on November 2nd.
• Make sure you are original! The FarmVille team will be judging the pictures based off of creativity, effort and presentation.
• Make sure it's a real pumpkin or type of squash. This is a contest for the pumpkin carvers!
• Your entry must be a pumpkin that is carved in October 2011, pictures of pumpkins from 2010 will not be considered!
• Zynga is not providing pumpkins to carve. Please check your local resources to find one.
• If pumpkins are not in your area and you can find a similar vegetable to carve – we will love you just the same!
• Only ONE entry per person. Entry must be your own.
• Once posted, entries cannot be modified or deleted.
• By entering, you will be indicating that Zynga has permission to announce your name if you are chosen as the winner.
• Entries that are not posted in the entry thread (i.e. sent by email or Private Message) will not be considered.
• Do not post negative comments about other contest entries. Doing so may result in the disqualification of your entry.
• This contest is open to all users that have an account in good standing with Zynga who enter to participate.
• Once submitted, all entries become the sole property of Zynga. (If you plan to use the submission as an in-game item, t-shirt, or in any other reproduction please include the full language at the end of this template)
• This contest as well as the use of any Zynga website, forum or game also governed by the Zynga Terms of Service HERE
• Collection and use of user information governed by Zynga’s Privacy Policy HERE
• No purchase necessary. Making a purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.

RULES:

ALL ENTRIES MUST BE POSTED IN THIS THREAD!

• No inappropriate content is allowed in the photos. (The forum rules still apply)
• The photos must show your entire pumpkin!
• The picture must be original. No going and getting an image off of the internet.
• To ensure the legitimacy of the picture, you must place a sign in the picture with your Forum ID. This way we know it’s yours!
• Entries that are sent to members of the FarmVille team via PM or email will not be considered valid.
• No spamming of the thread is allowed. This includes any content that is not relevant to the Pumpkin Carving Contest.
• One entry per person. Choose wisely! (This means that creating an additional forum account to post multiple entries is NOT allowed.)

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA:

A total of 30 points is possible; points will be awarded based on the following criteria:

• Creativity: up to 10 points
• Effort: up to 10 points
• Presentation: up to 10 points

We will announce the winners on the forums by their forum handle. Winners will receive a Private Message from a member of the FarmVille Community Team. Players must provide their Facebook User ID via Private Message for prize awarding process.
